Levi Hastings

Levi Hastings is an Emmy-nominated illustrator of children’s books, graphic novels and beyond. His interest in Queer history has inspired much of his work, including his most recent books: Washington’s Gay General: The Legends of Loves of Baron von Steuben (Abrams 2023) which he co-authored and illustrated with Josh Trujillo. His next children’s book “Are You A Friend of Dorothy?” written by Kyle Lukoff is forthcoming from Simon & Schuster. Levi’s other children’s books include Big Wig, Galloping Gertie, The Spirit of Springer and Mayor Pete.
